Come make your own pin-hole camera with a Tetra-Pak (milk container) and watch the kids programmes from previous editions of CineGlobe in the Minima Cinemas, for both big and small!

For the first time, CineGlobe joins the creative laboratory AddictLab for an expo dedicated entirely to children of all ages. Among dozens of other organisations, CineGlobe will display its kid-friendly films in the two Minima Cinema cabins, as well as lead workshops all three days for children and parents on how to create a pin-hole camera from an old Tetra Pak container, and then develop the pictures with Coffee and Vitamin C. It’s safe, easy, and best of all, creative fun for all!

The minima cinema

In an era where children are continuously exposed to video content, and screens are available on almost any device, it’s difficult to teach children about the magic of cinema. The Kids Minima Cinema allows any TV screen to become an individual, portable screening room. It makes watching movies a special experience again – like going to the cinema at home! Also on display will be the original Minima Cinema, with seating for up to three people. Come and enjoy the children’s programmes from the two previous editions of the CineGlobe Festival. Tetra Pak Camera Workshop

For both children and their parents. Now’s the chance to try your hand at analog photography, using only an old Tetra Pak milk container, coffee, and some vitamin C. You’ll make your own pinhole-camera, and develop photos with a non-toxic mix that’s available to anyone. Perfect for kids 6 and up, this workshop teaches resourcefulness, creativity, and most importantly, how photography really works. Workshops all day, everyday, signup on-site. Children under 12 should be accompanied by an elder sibling or parent. In French and English.
