The Cleaners: digital cleaning, at what price?

Tim Berners-Lee, a British physicist, co-invented the web at CERN in Geneva in 1989 to allow scientists around the world to exchange information instantly. In 1993, CERN integrated the World Wide Web software as a free domain, which allowed the web to be accessed around the world. In 30 years, between fake news, cybersurveillance, propaganda and addictions, the environment has become much less neutral and democratic. A discussion will take place with the The Cleaners’ film crew and Bruno Giussani, one of the very first Swiss specialists of the Internet.
