During the HI-SEAS Mars Simulation Mission, Outreach officer Sian Proctor was tasked with managing the process of preparing meals. It turns out that both the preparation and consumption of meals is critical to social interaction, and will be both a key challenge and opportunity for any mission to Mars. In addition, coming up with creative recipes using ingredients that can be managed over a long period of time is no small feat. In her Meals for Mars videos, Sian presents her fellow crewmates and shows how to make inventive recipes that will stand the test of interstellar time!
