Orbit.1 : Space Xploration

After a rich 13th edition, CineGlobe is back in the orbit of the communes with its touring festival CineGlobe in orbit. See you on 24.08 at ️ Grand-Saconnex
For this first orbit, we’re flying to space with Nicolas Giraud’s science fiction film “L’Astronaute“, starring Mathieu Kassovitz.
Shot in part on the Ariane Group’s Vernon site in 2021, twelve employees had the pleasure of appearing in the film.
The Ariane program that is part of the European Space Agency.
#didyouknow taht CERN and ESA examine future fundamental physics research in space.
They’re working together on AMS. The Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS-02) is a particle physics experiment module that is mounted on the International Space Station (ISS).

CineGlobe is collaborating with Ciné en plein air for an evening in the courtyard of the Parc des Délices. Sun loungers and a refreshment bar will be available for a fee. Barbecues are not permitted.

  • In case of bad weather, the workshops will continue and the film screening will take place at “Salle communale des Délices“.
    Please note that places are limited to 150 people. Priority for screenings will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.

Workshops

16h – How do you make a camera out of a Tetra Pak and take a photo with it?
(bring an empty 1L TetraPak, empty and washed)
During the Tetra Pak Camera workshop, you will build your own camera and learn how to develop photos with coffee and vitamin C.
The number of places is extremely limited, so book as soon as possible.

19h – How to create a small animation on film ?
Handle real 35mm film, rework the images one by one, then view the resulting animation on a Moviola projector.

From 7 years of age.
Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Detailed workshop descriptions can be found in the agenda section of www.grand-saconnex.ch
