Come and get hands-on in our workshop sessions on the principles of photography and animation. Make your own photo camera using a Tetrapak box and some tape; get your photo developed! Learn the principles of stop-motion animation and make your own film. Presented in partnership with Filmer l’Air de Rien & CERN robotics club.

The workshops take place inside CERN’s IdeaSquare facility, a short walking distance from the Globe.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the workshop. Free access on a first come-first served basis.

Recommended for 5 and up. Due to CERN access regulations, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult (one child per adult).

Robotics stop-motion

Presented in partnership with art collective le FAR and the CERN robotics club.
In this workshop, participants will learn the principles or stop-motion animation and the basics of computer programming to produce a short film.

Tetrapak camera

A CineGlobe classic, this workshop teaches participants about the principles of chemical photography, using simple materials found in the kitchen!
