Michel Reilhac will speak about his experience in the field of Extended Reality (XR – or augmented, virtual, and mixed reality) and what he sees as the major challenges in the field today. Michel is the:

• Founder and Co-curator of Venice VR, the official creative immersive content competition within the frame of the Venice Biennale International Film Festival

• An independent interactive and immersive experience director, using Virtual Reality and live events. He is also a producer of his own work through his Amsterdam-based production company, MELANGE.

• Head of Studies for the Venice Biennale College Cinema and the Venice Biennale College VR,

• A thought-leader for hybrid forms of storytelling, and immersive, participatory, and interactive experiences, giving talks, designing, and leading workshops internationally.

This will be his second appearance at the CineGlobe Festival.

The masterclass will be presented as a live stream, both online and projected at the Globe at CERN, with questions fielded from the CERN audience as well as from those joining online.
