What is the difference, if any, between editing a documentary and a fiction film? Murch, who has done both during his six-decade career as an editor and sound designer, explores the differences and similarities, with examples from the documentaries Particle Fever and Coup 53, and fictional films The Conversation, Apocalypse Now, and The Godfather.
