FUTURE STORYWORLDS: CALL FOR PROJECTS

The 3rd iteration of the NIFFF ON TOUR @CERN: Future Storyworlds workshop – in collaboration with CineGlobe Film Festival at CERN, the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia and STORYTEK – will take place on 29-30 November.

The Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival (NIFFF) is calling for visionary narrative concepts developed for immersive media. This one-of-a-kind workshop, which will be held at the prestigious European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva, will provide free high-level coaching for 6 to 10 contestants. Said participants will have a chance to strengthen their project in terms of storytelling and scientific prospective.

Registration for the NIFFF ON TOUR @CERN: Future Storyworlds workshop are now open. Future candidates have until November 3rd, 2019, to apply and propose visionary narratives related to the evolution of science and technologies (2-3 pages). These stories must be designed for immersive media such as video games, VR, augmented reality, or mixed reality. No other format will be considered.

This 2-day workshop of a new kind in Switzerland is set up in collaboration with CineGlobe Film Festival at CERN and the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia, with the support of Estonian #Futureofcontent accelerator and creative hub STORYTEK. It gives developers of independent stories the opportunity to strengthen their projects with the help of scientists and major players from the digital and screenwriting industries.
