CineGlobe in orbit in Saint-Genis-Pouilly
On Sunday 12 October, CineGlobe en orbite and CERN invite young and old to an exceptional day where animation and science meet at Cinéma Le Bordeau.
11:00 – Petit CineGlobe: a selection of brand-new youth shorts from the 2025 collection, poetically exploring the theme of interweaving.
11:50 – Zoetrope workshop (ages 7+): discover the origins of animated film.
15:00–16:30 – Interactive CERN workshop (ages 6+): explore human and artificial intelligences through hands-on challenges led by scientists and volunteers from the CERN Computer Club.
16:00 – Snack for children.
17:00 – Screening of Arco, Cristal for a Feature Animation Film, Annecy 2025: a futuristic, poetic tale about time, friendship and worlds to come.
18:30 – Roundtable on “Quantum Youth” and cinema.
19:00 – Friendly drinks to wrap up the day.
👉 Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
