An immersive, unprecented and free festival at CERN
From May 14 to 18, 2025, CineGlobe returns to CERN’s Science Gateway and the Globe of Science and Innovation. Open to all, the festival offers an immersive experience blending cinema, science and new technologies.
Inspired by quantum entanglement and film editing, this edition ‘Interwoven‘ explores deep connections between storytelling and reality. In partnership with Virtual Switzerland, CineGlobe presents a unique immersive zone featuring Swiss and international VR experiences.
On May 17, CineGlobe and the Science Gateway join forces with the European Night of Museums for an evening blending storytelling, legends, and quantum visions.
This edition celebrates all those — researchers, engineers, artists, and technicians — who continually push the boundaries of knowledge. It also features an international short film competition (fiction, youth, documentary, immersive), reflecting the diversity of forms and perspectives on science.
When: May 14–18, 2025
Where: CERN Science Gateway & Globe of Science and Innovation, Esplanade des Particules 1, Meyrin
