To round off the festival, and as part of the celebrations to mark CERN’s 70th anniversary, a unique event will take place on Sunday afternoon, May 19. It will highlight the impact of CERN’s extraordinary collective efforts throughout its history, right up to the present day. Video projections will accompany discussions between specialists, including Tim Berners-Lee, who invented the World Wide Web at CERN in 1989, revolutionizing information technology and hence society as a whole.
