| Description | Maria’s work unveils the hidden, resplendent patterns inherent in synthetic crystals. Through this artwork, participants are granted a distinctive and intimate glimpse into the intricate realm of crystallography, offering an experience that highlights the complexity of our material world and the mysterious phenomenon of light.
The artworks are a collection of crystal samples grown on (10x10cm) glass slides encased within a lightbox. The public must unveil these crystals with a hand-held device that exposes the hidden crystal “painting” under the glass. This work was showcased in video form in the opening film Universe in a Grain of Sand. |
