Galileo VR – The Life, the Discoveries, the Trial narrates the famous and emblematic figure of Galileo Galilei, his life and revolutionary discoveries. It is an immersive virtual reality (VR) 360° video in three main acts, the first introducing the character, the second dedicated to some of his main discoveries and finally the last years of his life including trial and conviction by the Inquisition. The narrating voice is Galileo’s, so the viewer is placed in the shoes of the great scientist and astronomer, retracing his story and discoveries. The VR experience combines creativity with a deep and rigorous humanistic and scientific content, to render memorable the educational and entertaining experience.
